We are capable of taking CAD designs of multiple variants of a part and by merging them together, we can then develop a universal tray where possible. This tray could be to hold LHD/RHD, Left parts/Right parts even different models in the same universal tray.
By making a universal tray the tooling cost per part is significantly reduced.
CPL carries out the entire process, design, prototyping, testing, followed by final tooling and mass production. We have machines capable of producing one-piece trays up to 2400 x 1400mm
In order to keep costs and lead times as low as possible, we use our own extruded sheet HDPE / PP / ABS with coloured stripes where required.

At CPL we are in a unique position, in that we manufacture our own high quality sheets of plastic using our own on-site extrusion machinery and technology. Using raw plastic materials in pellet form, and returned plastic that is recycled, to enable a sustainable product (by closing the loop), we can create the exact size, finish, plastic content and colour you require.
